Thank you for visiting the St. Francis de Sales Social Action/Outreach section of our website. Please take a few moments to browse through the different ministries serving the poor. As you can imagine, your help is needed! If you desire to serve the poor, there is a ministry here at St. Francis where you can fulfill that desire. Jesus tells us that whenever we serve the least of our brothers and sisters we are indeed serving him. It is my sincere hope that you will consider joining one of the many teams working together to help those who need us so desperately. I realize that time is always a consideration, and I assure you that you are never expected to do more than you can.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 410-676-5119 or you can email me at [email protected]. I’d be very happy to speak with you to address any concerns you may have.
May God bless you, and may his peace be with you always,
Deacon Jim Sullivan

The Sharing Table serves a hot lunch and distributes grocery bags every Saturday. They are the only soup kitchen in Harford County that serves on Saturday and consists of a rotation of church
and other community groups that serve throughout the year. St. Francis de Sales works to provide a hot lunch on Saturdays at Prince of Peace Church in Edgewood. Volunteers cook a chicken and rice casserole in their homes (using a standard recipe) and bring it to the Prince of Peace Church in Edgewood on our appointed Saturday.
We are always in need of volunteers, and even if you can’t serve, if you could provide a casserole it would be a great help. For more information visit the Sharing Table.

Our Sister Parish in Haiti ~ Legliz Marie Reign (Mary Our Queen)
Contact: Daniel (Danny) Cajigas – [email protected] or Gail Grady – [email protected]
Mission Statement: The community of St. Francis de Sales will reach out to our brothers and sisters of Legliz Marie Reign, L’Estè, Haiti with spiritual, financial and physical support. Through the power of prayer our communities will become one as Jesus intended.
Goal: The primary goal of a sister parish partnership is to build a spiritual connection between the two communities. From this strong foundation of mutual prayer will flow the financial means to assist our Haitian brothers and sisters, which is the second goal. The third goal is to be physically present to the community in Haiti by making trips to L’Estè.
